Bunuru - its hot, take a cool dip into NPYR

Augusta Lighthouse

Augusta Lighthouse, Western Australia, January 2023 - Summer Yoga Intensive

Traditionally, Banaru is the hottest time of the year with little to no rain. Hot easterly winds continue with a cooling sea breeze most afternoons. It’s a great time for living by the coast, rivers and estuaries. Have you dipped into the water lately? This picture was taken on the last day of our Summer Holiday yoga timetable and sets the scene for our return to WA’s southwest this Easter.

Join NPYR on it’s annual get away together. This four day retreat, offers time to step outside the daily grind and dip into a naturally up lifting environment. Fair Harvest, a working permaculture farm, is situated 5kms outside Margaret River’s township. It’s quite and provides a nourishing environment to find time and peace. We share delicious vegetarian/vegan meals prepared with a love of sustainable living in harmony within nature. Full moon fireside chats are a source of laughter, understanding and community spirit. Yoga practice is a unifying process that brings individuals together through experiences shared. Please consider joining us, you won’t be disappointed.

Speaking of beauty, are you joining Pixie’s Iyengar Yoga workshop?

Don’t let feelings of not being good enough, get in your way. You’ll miss out on the experience of beauty and joy when yoga is practiced through the guidance of a masterful facilitator of the subject.

This opportunity is not only for teachers of Iyengar yoga.  Quite the opposite, NPYR invites senior teachers to Western Australia to create an opportunity for everybody and that includes you most of all. If cost is holding you back, ask about the pay forward sponsorships we have available to support you.

NPYR is half way through first term and like the weather, it’s been cracker jack. The recent IYA convention has certainly turned up the heat and it feels like we’ve ‘cleaned the slate’ and revitalised effort.

The new online booking system is up and running with classes showing an immediate lift in numbers. It’s encouraging and we thank you all for your patience and understanding as we endeavor to provide you with an improved service delivery.

That said, NPYR will continue to run a 10 week term because it delivers you quality, consistency and is our best practice when administering a school of learning. There will simply be a few less classes available to book into during the school holiday fortnight.

Did someone say holiday? Check out Big Sista Adventures for yoga retreats in Bali and Varanasi in 2023.

That’s it for now.

Thanks for all you do to make the world a better place.
