As winter lifts and Djilba warms the ground, the body wants to rise.
In July we freed tight shoulders and necks. This time we build on that freedom — and take it upward.
Part 2 turns mobility into strength and stability through the shoulder girdle, then carries it into the inversions: Salamba Sarvangasana, Sirsasana and their variations, safely and step by step.
This intensive will consider functional anatomy and how to sequence poses, using props to build the strength, alignment and confidence that inversions ask for.
Ann has over 25+yrs in Iyengar Yoga and holds a Sports Science degree, so you can rest assured you're in professional and 'safe' hands.
Friday 18th September 5.30 - 7pm (restorative - preparing the shoulders)
Saturday 19th September 7.30 - 9.30am (asana - strength & stability for the shoulder girdle)
Saturday 19th September 3.30 - 5.30pm (inversion anatomy - the neck & shoulders in Sarvangasana & Sirsasana)
